- Michigan Governor has announced that Detroit will make a ‘comeback’, responding to the 18 billion bankruptcy that the city filed a few days ago. The Governor said that if they had postponed the bankruptcy, the city will have continued its decline.
- A police photographer has leaked photos of the Boston Marathon bombing suspect when he got captured. The policeman said this was in response to the dazzling image that the Rolling Stones magazine published of the terrorist which made the terrorist look like a hero. Officials stated that the office has been relieved of the duty and an investigation is going on.
- Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd has announced that refugees coming via boat will no longer be accepted into the country. Instead, they will be sent to Papua New Guinea where officials will determine if the asylum seekers are qualified as refugees.
